Why EHA instead of a urine or blood test?
EHA gives the most reliable results on the body’s mineral content, because the results of this test determine imbalances in the body and changes of elements and their interrelationships much more reliably than blood or urine tests. There are many reasons why you should choose EHA. One of the most important is the reliability of the reading. Blood tests are often invaluable, but the problem is that the results reflect only the state at the given moment in time, and don’t communicate what’s happening in the body over time at the cellular level. Blood only carries substances (e.g., vitamins, minerals, glucose, hormones, etc.), while cells are the final recipient.
Determining the amount of elements using a blood test doesn’t show their amounts in the whole body. The blood has mechanisms that equalise the amount of elements in the serum at the expense of their reserves in tissues. This means that despite a seemingly correct concentration of elements in the blood, their amount in the body may be insufficient.

How does it work?
- Order an EHA set.
- After paying for the order, you will receive an email with the EHA questionnaire. Please, print and write it legibly.
- Take a hair sample and put it along with the completed questionnaire into the paper envelope.
- Send to the laboratory.
- You’ll be notified that we received your hair sample at the email address provided in the questionnaire.
- The waiting time for results is two weeks.
- When the EHA result is ready, you will receive an email with instructions on how to register patient panel where your EHA result will be available.
Take a hair sample – it’s that simple!
- Put your hair up at the top of your head.
- Segregate the first section and cut it with sharp scissors right next to the skin.
- Measuring from where you cut it – from the head – cut a 1-1,5 cm strand, and discard the rest.
- Repeat 2-3 times so that the amount of cut hair is 300-400mg, which is approximately 1 flat tablespoon in volume.
- An insufficient amount of material may prevent the test from being conducted.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use new scissors from which metal filings could get to the sample.
The hair required for analysis must be:
– Natural (not dyed, bleached, or treated with any chemical processes).
– Clean (washed, with no styling products such as hairspray, mousse, or gel).
In the case of dyed hair, you must wait until there is a minimum regrowth of 1 inch (collect only the regrown part as the sample).
The hair sample should not be stored in aluminum foil.
If it is not possible to collect a sample from the head, it is acceptable to use pubic or chest hair.
To accurately determine your trends, repeat the test every six months.
Are the tests reliable?

What will I receive after the test has been processed?
A report will then be generated with detailed information about the tested areas and recommended interventions. This test requires specialized knowledge for interpretation. You will be provided with a secure login on the lab platforms to view and download the results.
What happens after I receive the results?
You will be presented with the option to book an appointment with the doctor to further discuss the test results. The appointment will last about 30-60 minutes (includes the time the doctor needs to study the results), during which professional interpretation, further advice, and a possible therapeutic plan, based on your results, will be provided.
